EVENT | Techweek Part 2

Part two of my Techweek NYC experience involved some amazing speakers and a cool tech fashion show. I heard from media big shots Jonah Peretti (BuzzFeed), Saraya Darabi (Zady) and David Arabov (Elite Daily), just to name a few. I definitely got inspired by being surrounded by such passionate and driven individuals.

I was honestly SO inspired after hearing Soraya Darabi talk about her journey toward creating Zady. Maybe it's because she also has a background as a journalist, but everything she said during her session seemed to hit home for me. She talked about the importance of time, authenticity and natural curiosity. "Think like a journalist, act like a marketer."
