Never would I have thought I'd see the day that I'd get to shoot a rifle. It happened last Monday, on a field trip to West Point Military Academy with my class. My initial thoughts:

Anyway, upon arriving at campus, it was more like a Harry Potter movie:
We were welcomed by a group of cadets and split into groups. We took part in a series of activities, which included shooting virtual bullets from real rifles.
We even ate MREs, aka strange packaged food.
Such a cool experience!
